Basketball:How come MLB doesn't have lockouts coming?

They go through the league with no salary cap, which means larger market teams with the more money can spend alot more than the smaller market teams. Despite that though, lots of different teams won the WS the past decade for MLB. But the larger markets outspending the other smaller markets, shouldn't that be an issue? I like MLB, I'm just saying.
