Is MLB among the fewest entities where it's commonplace for employees to make more than the owner?

The NFL is not making any progress in contract negotiations. The NBA has their house in far too much disarray to consider next season will be played. MLB financial affairs are probably the farthest out of whack among all the sports because no caps are in place. Thirteen MLB teams are out of compliance w/ the DEBT guidelines but the fan support is strongly in favor of the players who make more in a yr. than 10 of us will make in a lifetime while the owners raise the ticket prices and get further into debt.
